Here’s the scoop: Over the past 11-years, I have burned-up shoe leather in Washington, D.C. and at state capitols across the U.S.A., meeting with policy-makers and working on various types of legislation.

My goal for this blog is to share a few things that I have learned along the way with anyone interested in the legislative process. I will be focusing on the basics.

I envision myself blogging on a range of issues, like how best to reach out to politicians and how one might develop and introduce legislation.  In general, how the legislative process works.

This is not a place where you will find hard-nosed political analysis, just non-partisan insight on federal and state government affairs — a little fun, plus interesting facts about state capitols.
